Tried this place for the first time. Got a steak and cheese sub and a buffalo chicken sub. Buffalo chicken sub was not so Buffalo since there was no buffalo sauce on it.. They basically just gave us a plain chicken finger sub. Reason why I'm taking two stars off. I couldn't really enjoy the buffalo chicken sub. The chicken was also overflowing on it. I'm all for more portion, but not with a sub. Makes it way too messy. Steak and cheese was not bad. We will try again. Update: I got a call shortly after I posted this and they made things right. Very kind and quick of them. I would have called them about it but I was not walking back in this wind just to add sauce lol. Added a star back for the great customer service.
Tried a pizza from the new Ellie’s (former Phuket location at 21 Princess St opposite Public Safety building). I believe today is their grand opening. Pizza was fine, it is more Greek-ish style than any other I have had, which isn’t my favorite type of pizza, but it wasn’t bad and it was less greasy than some other Greek pizza. Staff was very nice and they have a very large menu of other options in addition to pizza. If you are a fan of Greek pizza, you will like the pizza. I definitely plan to check out some other options on their menu.
We just tried triple threat &ellies favorite pizza. Both of them were delicious. I love the combination of res sauce with pesto and garlic at ellies pizza. For sure this is my new favorite spot. They have a great dining spot and great customer service. We will be back soon
Today I tried the steak tip sub at Ellie’s Pizza Place in Wakefield, and it was an absolute hit! The steak tips were perfectly cooked—tender, juicy, and flavorful without being greasy. They piled them generously onto a soft, toasted sub roll that held everything together without getting soggy. I paired the sub with Cajun fries and the combo was delicious! It’s a hearty, satisfying meal that doesn’t leave you hungry afterward. The service was very friendly and quick, making it an all-around great experience. Highly recommend this spot, their menu has plenty of other options! Definitely coming back to try more items on their menu!
We absolutely love Ellie’s Pizza—both the Wakefield and Beverly Farms locations! The food is consistently fantastic with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. Whether it’s a classic pizza or one of their creative specials, everything is made with care and quality ingredients. Ordered here on a whim and finally some good local pizza! Crust was crisp Generous toppings. Good sides and order request was fulfilled to perfection. Prices weren’t too bad as well. I def recommended this place for sure
The steak tips here are absolutely delicious. Perfectly seasoned. I literally get them every day Pizza's not bad. I did try the meat lovers and it was pretty tasty. Would definitely order again. Cajun fries are bomb and these guys take requests seriously. I called yesterday and asked for curly fries Xtra Xtra well done. They were done perfectly and not burnt. Definitely order from here. Better than the local competition.
Ellie’s Pizza In one year of writing reviews and taking photos this was our tastiest experience yet. Albion served us the most delicious food around with a level of hospitality that, so far, is unmatched. We had the Roma panini which was a mouthwatering piece of grilled chicken cooked to perfection, with fresh mozzarella cheese, topped with a succulent pesto, inside a soft perfectly seasoned Panini. Next we had the Red Passion salad, which was incredible with strawberries, goat cheese, pistachio, & beets over a fresh bed of greens. Finally we had one of Ellie’s Special Pizzas, which was chunks of soft, tender pieces of eggplant, roasted red peppers, garlic, pesto, artichoke, & fresh mozarella. If we could give Ellie’s a thousand stars we would. This is the best food around. We will definitely go back there and we suggest you do too!
